You are invited to attend The Kristeva Circle Conference, which will meet October 3-5, 2019, at Emory University’s Conference Center and Hotel, 1615 Clifton Rd, Atlanta, GA 30329, on the theme of “Trajectories of Psychoanalysis.” In addition to panels by leading scholars and clinicians, highlights include:

 

Thursday October 3, 2019

Conference begins at 6 p.m. with the U.S. Premiere of the documentary film, “Who’s Afraid of Julia Kristeva,” followed by a reception.

 

Friday October 4 

9-10:30 a.m. Roundtable discussion with filmmaker Iskra Angelova, and the author of the new intellectual biography of Kristeva, Alice Jardine.

4-5:30 p.m. Keynote address by Emanuela Bianchi, New York University Department of Comparative Literature


Saturday October 5 

11 a.m-12:30 p.m. Keynote address by Jill Gentile, New York University Postdoctoral Program in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis.

Afternoon panel sponsored by the Atlanta Psychoanalytic Society on “the clinic.”
